Confirmed: brucite is an environmentally friendly raw material!

Environment has always been a priority for Brucite+. Our products, which are safe for nature and humans, are used to protect the environment, and we are guided by the principles of sustainability in their production .

Our activity is based on the unique properties of a natural brucite mineral which is an environmentally friendly raw material. To prove it an assessment of the CO2 emissions from the extraction of 1 kg of brucite ore was carried out by Carbon Footprint Ltd. in 2021. The analysis has shown that the emissions caused by the extraction of brucite on the basis of the FCA Kuldur deposit tend to zero, amounting to 9 gCO2e per 1 kg of ore. In addition, brucite is not chemically treated during the production of final products.

This allows to conclude that the brucite ore may soon achieve the so-called carbon neutrality that is net-zero carbon emissions, the situation when emissions are not only reduced, but also balanced by the absorption of an equal amount of CO2.

Carbon neutrality is a global UN goal that needs to be reached by 2050. As a follow-up to the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, many industries and even countries have already taken on the challenge of transitioning to such a system in the near future, and some companies are already called carbon-neutral ones. This is what Brucite+ aspires to. We believe that our efforts to protect the environment will ultimately result in net-zero carbon emissions of our raw material and products.
