Geological exploration at the Savkinsky deposit continues

6 May 2021
Brucite+ continues to carry out geological exploration at the Savkinsky deposit in accordance with the previously approved multi-stage exploration and development project plan.

Physical volumes of exploration work were completed at the deposit on March 3, 2021. As a result, 16.5 thousand meters of geological exploration and 780 meters of hydrogeological wells were drilled; 13.5 thousand geological samples were analyzed.

Ten technological samples with a total weight of up to 5 tons were taken at the deposit. Preliminary beneficiation data suggest that the modern XRT method in the separation of brucite ores can be successfully applied achieving a significant improvement in the quality of the final product.

The certification of the analytical laboratory has been completed and the analytical measurement technique has been accredited.

A preliminary assessment of the resource base of the deposit has been carried through. It showed that the geological reserves of the deposit amounted to 29.4 million tons of brucite.

Currently, the systematization of the obtained data continues. Technological research in the preparation for the development of a feasibility study for temporary exploration conditions is also being carried out.
It allows to foresee the launch of production of the Savkinsky deposit in early 2025 according to the multi-year phased project plan.
